It's amazing, that for all my travels, it has taken me 72 years to get to the small island just 90 miles south of Miami, Florida. Too long! This is a charming, friendly and very photogenic country. I want to go back and experience it again, as it is today. It's sad to see the effects of the 1959 embargo, and what that has done to the country and its people.
